Season 3 of Aion 2 is approaching. This guide covers time-limited items that must be used before the season ends, priority shop purchases, gear setup, and the new Succession system. To ensure you can take full advantage of these opportunities without being slowed down by a lack of currency, you can buy Aion 2 Kinah to quickly acquire essential items and upgrades before the season ends.

Part One: Time-Limited Items to Use Immediately

Certain items expire when the season ends (approximately April 8th). Items with a "Plus" indicator (e.g., +2) do not disappear after use and can be saved for later.

Content Entry Tickets

Nightmare Tickets: A new Nightmare difficulty releases in Season 3. Obtain these tickets first to access new rewards quickly.

Pre-Awakening Raid Tickets: Current raid battles will disappear in Season 3. Some rewards transfer to Pre-Awakening raids, which will offer better rewards. Obtain these tickets and use them.

Important: When you use a ticket, it applies a "Plus" count to your entry allowance. The Plus entries remain available. However, if a raid battle disappears from the game, Plus entries for that content will also vanish. Use raid entries before the season ends.

Five Major Energy

Time-limited Five Major Energy expires next week. Use it now. The Plus indicator on energy means it does not disappear after use.

Instant Completion Tickets

Use these on sub-characters if your main character has too many. If short on entry tickets, acquire more through Type 3 quests using your main character and three sub-characters.

Buffs

Use any time-limited attack buffs before they expire.

Part Two: Season Coins and Shop Priority

Season Coins expire next week. Enter the shop and use them before they vanish.

Priority One – Wings (Talisra Wings) : These transfer to your main character. They provide raw Attack, Defense, Accuracy, and Cooldown Reduction. With skills increasing in importance, cooldown reduction is highly valuable.

Priority Two – Breath Items : Four Breath items can be purchased per server. After the season passes, they are no longer available. Required quantities for dragon progression:

True Dragon: 1 Breath

Black and White Dragons: 2 Breaths

Dark Dragons: 3 Breaths

Demon Dragons: 4 Breaths

Weapon Recommendation: Do not pursue Heavenly Demon Dragon. Eternal items (Ungilong or Rudra) are superior.

Priority Three – Accessories : For secondary characters, craft a True Gunryong ring (for skill levels 16-20) or necklace (for raw attack power). For main characters, craft Heavenly Dragon accessories. The necklace is most recommended. Rings are less recommended as they may require switching.

Important Restriction: Craft items on the character that will use them. Created items bind to the crafting character and cannot be transferred.

Priority Four – Refinement Stones and Odd : These are essential. Dragon materials and Refinement Stones transfer to character warehouse. Odd is untradable but can be exchanged 1:1 for other Odd Ore in Material Conversion, becoming tradable after exchange.

Priority Five – Spiritual Magic Stones : After purchase, use Alchemy to upgrade your top. Even Intermediate items can be sold.

Part Three: Item Level Requirements for Season 3

First Expedition: 3,500 (not difficult to meet due to Devaneon Marcutan and new Great Devaneon)

Transcendence and Lust: 3,000

New Purification Station of Erosion: 3,500

New Sanctuary (late May): Expected 4,000

Part Four: Gear Setup Before Season 3

Weapons and Gauntlets

Acquire Epic items. The Rudra set is excellent. Switch from Heavenly Horse to Rudra.

Do not upgrade weapons one by one. Succession will allow direct switching from Unique to Epic. Wait for Season 3.

Armor

Heroic armor is now essential. Superior alternatives to Durubati Unique gear include Corrupted or Ancient gear. Few players have maxed Unique enhancements yet, making switching easier.

Heroic Item Priority Order

Weapon and gauntlet first (increases combat power and DPS)

Bracelet – prioritize Heroic Bond over other Unique parts

Ring – add a line after other priorities (essential for Mages due to level 20 skills)

Heroic armor – Blue-Eyes and Cloak are top priority (Smite and Attack Percentage included)

AP Cap: Threshold is 90-100%. Mages using House of the Dead gain base 10%, so aim for 90%.

True Dragon's Lair

Remains usable. Succession crafting will allow upgrades to higher tiers.

Part Five: Succession System for Season 3

Unique Grade Succession

Usage count resets when the season ends.

Grade 0 Succession (Unique to Grade 0)

Limited to three attempts

Materials are expensive

Heroic Succession Stones required (5 pieces per craft, random Heroic items)

Consumption:

Weapons: 20 Succession Stones (4 consumed)

Armor: 15 Succession Stones (3 consumed)

Accessories: 2 Heroic items

Priority: Weapon is the absolute top priority.

What Does NOT Transfer: Potential stats and Heroic Stones. Necessary options do transfer.

Breakthrough to Enhancement Conversion:

Unique 5-Breakthrough → +20 Enhancement

Unique 4-Breakthrough → +19 Enhancement

+3 Breakthrough → +18 Enhancement

+2 Breakthrough → +17 Enhancement

Cost Consideration: Going from +4 to +5 Breakthrough costs ~30 million. Going from +19 to +20 on Legendary costs much less. Skip +5 Breakthrough.

Inheritance Crafting

Upgrades Gunryong or Jinryong to higher grades one by one. Success probability is 100%. Transfers Enhancement, Breakthrough, and Hero Engraving. Does NOT transfer Hero Bond.

Part Six: Devanion, Ariel, and Marcuta

Ariel: Sell tradable Ariels. Use season rewards instead.

Marcuta: Appears in Tier 4 Expeditions. Next Expedition (Tier 5, Justi) will drop Corrupted items, naturally collecting Marcuta. Otherwise, use Transcendence to craft Marcuta.

Part Seven: Expedition and Daily Dungeon

New Expedition

Collect Five-Type Energy and Entry Tickets. The new Expedition drops new Unique items and Corrupted Heroic items (Upper and High versions expected).

Daily Dungeon

Main character: Run Enhancement Stone Dungeon

Book character: Use to supplement Pet Understanding stats (3 presets added in Season 3)

Part Eight: Arcana Management

Do not dismantle enhanced Arcana. Skills may change due to nerfs or buffs. Keep all Arcana.
